Khaki & Elliott’s Fall wedding is the perfect inspiration for this time of year! It instantly warms your heart, and kick starts wedding planning for your Fall affairs featuring that gorgeous foliage and beautiful colors the season brings.
Our favorite part of this celebration though is the heartfelt, genuine emotion Waldorf Photographic Art captured from this crew. Get the lowdown for this wedding from the bride herself!
What is your favorite quality in your husband/wife?
“I think what I love most about Elliott is that he is very unselfish. He always puts everyone else before himself.”
When did you know you were falling in love?
“It was pretty quick. The night we met I knew Elliott was something special, the butterflies in my stomach were much stronger than ever before. It was only a few months after that when I knew he was the one for me! We were made for each other.”
Did you have a specific theme or design inspiration for your big day?
“Our theme was an elegant and eclectic look. We wanted it to be classic but still reflect the uniqueness of our personalities. I also loved the look of sparkle that several crystal chandeliers, candlelight, and soft draping added to the atmosphere of the venue.”
How sweet could you get, right?!
What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it?
“We chose ‘Let’s Stay Home Tonight’ by Needtobreathe. We felt it just described us perfectly. It has a classic sound that we will never get tired of listening to, while still being a more modern song.”
What traditions did you incorporate?
“I incorporated the traditional ‘something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue’ into my wedding day look. It was important to us to be married in a church. We also incorporated the fun traditions of the bouquet and garter toss.”
Tell us about your grand exit!
“We had the classic sparkler exit! We ran through the sparkling tunnel to our antique classic yellow getaway car. We loved the way the sparklers looked at night and it made for great photos!”
Cheers to you Khaki & Elliott from all of us at The Pink Bride!
