Free Spirited Love I Samantha and Colby Tie the Knot

February 12, 2018 Katherine Whitehead

On a beautiful July afternoon, Samantha and Colby walked down the aisle to forever proclaim their love to each other as husband and wife.  Surrounded by lush green trees and elegant greenery, their boho wedding, at Drakewood Farm, is the perfect combination of rustic and bohemian style.

Bridal Style

With a style all her own, Samantha made sure that her perfect wedding day was completed by her perfect dress.  Covered in delicate white lace and blush pink roses, her modified A-line dress with a perfect sweetheart neckline gracefully accentuates her flair for bohemian chic and classic bridal elegance.  Her beautiful wedding day look was topped with a gorgeous Himalayan salt stone crown and soft tousled updo.  Samantha looked absolutely stunning in her fresh face makeup and small stud earrings.

The Rings

This couple’s wedding rings were timeless and unique to them.  Samantha’s set featured a beautiful diamond ring on a matching diamond-encrusted band.  Colby went for a nontraditional black band with a thin gold line around it.

Venue Choice

Nestled in the valleys of Nashville, Tenn., Drakewood Farm is one of the South’s most elegant and historic homes.  Set on over 40 acres of rolling farmland, this 1850 Antebellum mansion is the perfect wedding venue for any bride that loves rustic sophistication and southern charm.  This gorgeous house comes complete with three separate barns that set the stage for a perfect country wedding.

Artistic Details

An outdoor wedding complete with a floral alter and small twinkling lights was the perfect way to celebrate a summer wedding.  Their rustic chairs and table settings matched perfectly with the venue’s breezy white curtains, letting their guests gaze out at the beautiful rolling hills.  To complete their rustic and bohemian wedding of earthy cream and peach tones, Samantha and Colby added tons of greenery and flowers.  Accentuated by gold accents, vases of succulents, and a reception area dotted with shimmering candles, their bridal style was totally swoon-worthy.
