Did you have a specific theme or design inspiration for your big day?

The church we got married in is extremely ornate and beautiful, so we let the church speak for itself. We wanted the reception to feel like a big, warm, welcoming party.

What was your first dance song?

We danced to ‘Warm Love’ by Van Morrison.

What traditions did you incorporate?

I was most excited about the tradition of the groom’s cake. I surprised Paul with a cake of our dog, Reggie. It was also very important to us to have a first dance with our father/mother respectively.

When did you know you were falling in love?

We both trace back the moment we fell in love to a ski trip we went on together. We had so much fun on that trip and realized how much we enjoyed spending time together.

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding?

The most memorable moment was walking down the aisle. We elected to not do a first look, and it was a special moment once we finally saw each other.
