And I Thought I Loved You Then | Peyton and David Get Married

April 11, 2018 Real Weddings

Can I get a “Go Big Orange?” Peyton and David’s wedding was FULL of Tennessee Volunteer pride. University of Tennessee colors can be seen in many aspects of their big day from their meaningful memento to their lost grandparents to their grand exit! Other than their colorful spirit, we can’t get enough of how this couple loves one another and what they do to show that every day! True love, Y’all!

What is your favorite quality in David?

“My favorite quality in my husband is that he loves God before everything and puts God before everything. He prays for me before we get the day started for work and he encourages me to read my Bible and seek God first every day.”

When did you know you were falling in love?

“When my husband would pray with me every morning before work and every night before we said goodnight to each other.”

Did you have a specific theme or design inspiration for your big day?

“Orange and white for our Tennessee Vols!”

What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it?

“‘Then’ by Brad Paisley. We chose this song because this describes our story together perfectly. Our love grows for one another each and every day. Our love can never fail as long as we put Christ in the center of our marriage.”

What was the most memorable moment?

“My husband and I both lost a set of grandparents a couple of years ago and we decided since they weren’t able to be there on our special day, to place their picture along with orange and white roses in their chairs in remembrance of our loved ones.”

Tell us about your grand exit!

“Our friends and family stood outside and shook orange and white Tennessee shakers and we ran through them to Rocky Top.”
