Chloe and Spencer’s wedding day was sheer perfection! Maple Grove Farm’s stunning spaces and gorgeous flowers full in bloom were just the cherries on top! The best part of this wedding though was how excited this couple was to marry each other! Scroll down to see for yourself.
What is your favorite quality in your husband?
Chloe: “Spencer is seriously one of the most brilliant and hardworking people I know, but at the same time he is always conscious of the need to not get too caught up in work and to make time for family and friends.”
Did you have a specific theme or design inspiration for your big day?
“Simplicity was our theme. Maple Grove Farm has a lovely arbor covered by vines, which I thought was just beautiful in and of itself, so we did not have to do much else to decorate the ceremony site. Our reception was full of candlesticks and other items my older sister has collected over the past few years along with some flowers we bought wholesale and arranged ourselves and with the help of Mendy Breeden on some of the larger arrangements. Bringing the majority of our decorations from home seemed to help the reception area feel warm and inviting and not overly formal, which is exactly what we wanted.”
What was the most memorable moment?
“Our first look was definitely the most memorable moment. I had been a basket of nerves all morning prior to seeing Spencer but, after we saw each other all the nerves were gone!”
What traditions did you incorporate?
“We actually cut out a lot of traditions. However, as we got closer to the wedding day I started to get more sentimental, so I pulled together a something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.”
Best Wishes Chloe and Spencer!
