We have some winter wedding vibes with this couple’s celebrations in Knoxville! Jackie and James brought the atmosphere of the joyous season into their decor details which made their wedding day an absolute wonderland! Waldorf Photographic Art captured it all beautifully!
How did you meet?
“We met in high school but didn’t date until 14 years later!”
When did you know you were falling in love?
“We knew we were in love when we finally decided to switch from being friends to dating! It felt like we’d been dating forever.”
What is your favorite quality in your husband?
“His sense of adventure.”
Did you have a specific theme or design inspiration for your big day?
“We wanted it to feel like an outdoor wedding but inside, so we hung a lot of lights and used a lot of greenery in our designs.”
How about your dress or attire?
“Comfort was my main requirement in a dress!
What traditions did you incorporate?
“My something old was a bracelet of my grandmothers, something blue was my dad’s hospital bracelet when he was born wrapped around my bouquet, something new was my dress, and something borrowed was my sister’s veil.”
What was the most memorable moment?
“The moment I walked down the aisle was the most memorable. We didn’t do a first look or anything, so it was super special.”
What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it?
“‘Into the Mystic’ by Van Morrison. James surprised me with it, so I didn’t know what was coming! We love that song.”
Best wishes Jackie & James
